'KI' is to feel, real existance, even you can't see

FOR WHAT did HIROE SEITAI start this blog?

Since I had started treatment for Westerners, often I was asked "What is SEITAI?" "Do you have web site ( to explain SEITAI)?"

And just I used to answer, "I can't explain by words.."

Because SEITAI method is an extensive system about whole life.

Let's say " live totally, naturally".

In modern life, we forget how to live naturally.

We are surrounded by too many informations about health and remedy. And we forget to feel by our own sense or instinct.( Maybe our instinct become weaker..?)

You may ask me, "How do you find blockage? What are you doing? How can you say that you make KI flow?"
KI is not a concept. It exist really. But I don't know what it is. It's one of ultimate mysteries of life, or even of universe.

But you can feel it. This sensibility is very important for SEITAI.
And as you go on with SEITAI, your sensibility of your own body and intuition will come back.

Then you forget question. Good! (for me)
But here anyway I'll try to inform about SEITAI as much as I can.

about reactive symptoms

Reactive symptoms sometimes accompany SEITAI treatment and exercises.
It is necessary process of healing, upsetting old habits of the body.
How they come out, how much strong they are, and how long they last depend on the cases.
It looks like acute sickness, ~high temperature, diarrhea, rush, chill, sweat, catching cold.
Or various parts of pain, it may be sometimes old, or strange part of pain.
Feeling of tiredness, weakness mean looseness of muscles.
All of those are function of the body to reset to recover.
It is desirable not to use symptomatic medicines. It delays natural healing process.
Recovering from these symptoms takes some time.
It is important to have patience to wait for a while without worry.

Below is self treatment for reactive symptoms.
When you feel very tired, take rest, lie down.
When you have pain, put hot towel on that part.
When you have elimination, like diarrhea, rush, cough, snivel, vomit, don't stop it by drugs. throw waste matter away, clean up.
Although high fever comes down, if you still feel weak, healing process is not finished yet. Keep on attending to what the body want to do. Don't hurry up to go back to routine. Keep quiet.
It is faster way to recover rather than managing symptoms by drugs.

about SEITAI

SEITAI is an effective and practical healing therapy with a long tradition in Japan.
There are many and varied natural healing methods being practiced in the world today. In the west, the name SAITAI is almost unknown. In many places it is known as KATSUGEN UNDO & YUKI. These are names given to the part of SEITAI used for public health care.
In Japan, many different types of therapies are using the SAITAI name. This has created much misunderstanding about the SEITAI method.
True SAITAI is an integrated self-healing method administered by a trained practitioner.

SEITAI KYOUKAI (the SEITAI association) was founded by Noguchi Haruchika (1911-1976). Noguchi was a healing genius and started his natural healing association when he was only 17 years old.
The original SEITAI techniques were a collection of very effective healing practices from many unknown healers from all parts of Japan brought together by Noguchi. This happened during the time of World War ll.
Noguchi unified these practices, which were proven effective, with his philosophy and technique and created SAITAI.
After working many years as a healer and teacher of the technique, he turned his work to the public education of self-healing. KATSUGEN UNDO and YUKI are the main subjects of his teaching.　And are continuing to be taught through the　SEITAI KYOUKAI organization.

The founder of IMOTO SEITAI was Imoto Akio. Imoto was a disciple of Noguchi and continued Noguchi's technique even after becoming independent of Noguchi.

Imoto's son, Imoto Kuniaki was born in 1944 and started learning from his father when he was 5 years old and began treating clients at a young age.
He studied several other healing methods including acupuncture.
In Europe at the legation of the Japanese government as an educator of acupuncture, he studied western medicine. With all this varied knowledge of healing he decided to concentrate on SEITAI only. Realizing that SEITAI itself was enough.
He returned to Japan and has been treating clients in his hometown for the last 40 years.

In the 90's he started teaching in Tokyo and established the IMOTO SEITAI education and development center.
His style is based mostly on his own experience over the last 50 years and not only on the original Noguchi SEITAI method. His intention is to pass proper SEITAI techniques on to future generations.
The teaching has become very highly refined and requires difficult and intense practice from students over many years. Though similar to Noguchi SEITAI the IMOTO SEITAI training takes many more years.
Because of the many years of study required, most practitioners are Japanese. Few foreigners are able to spend enough time with a proper master in Japan. This is one reason
why SEITAI treatment is little known outside of Japan.

Having learned the SAITAI technique from master Imoto Kuniaki, HIROE SAITAI was established to spread the SAITAI technique to other parts of the world.

While Imoto's technique as well as YUKI (hands-on healing) and KATSUGEN UNDO (self-training of natural healing power) look simple, the healing goes very deep. Thus, the training takes much time and patience.
Many people with difficult disorders have found HIROE SEITAI to be effective after other remedies have proved unsuccessful.

HIROE SEITAI has improved on traditional SAITAI techniques by putting more emphasis on the clients own awareness so as not to be dependent on the practitioner. Therefore we have many additional forms of treatment and exercises.
While maintaining the underlying principles of authentic SEITAI, Our teaching style has been adapted for clearer, modern day communication.
